Spider web in Sacbe

Before I arrived in Mexico, I had a dream I received the yin and yang symbol on my arm. Now as I am taking Tai Chi again, my instructor told me this means the balance is present within myself. It is my own knowing of the importance of health and focus. I have come through many obstacles both in Canada and in Mexico in the past 2.5 months, ones I will not go into detail of. But what I have come to learn through this is maintaining balance within my soul.

Many people back at home and here, feel frustrated with their lives. They feel pain, they feel resentment, they feel failure, they feel negative energies. The reality is that we can turn this into the positive and in the drop of a hat too. But our minds are not always so willing to change. We have to WANT to change. To see the beauty in life in the small things…. In the sun that glistens through the leaves of a tree, the old woman creeping down 5 ave in her Mayan garb, a spider web hanging above, the small geckos stopping on their decent down a tree.

Sometimes we search our whole lives for this kind of peace and some never find yet it is right here with us all the time. Sometimes, we encounter experiences that open our eyes, which open our minds and hearts. Sometimes it takes mortality experiences to force this change upon us. And sometimes, others, and their experiences can cast upon us, their learning, and ultimately awakening a deep understanding within…
